Master Bisazza, Mr. Nguyen, and the
entire staff at Kwon's,
The holidays are over, the New Year's
begun - we want to thank you for all you do to make Christian's martial arts
classes such a magnificent experience. Of Course it is not just about
the techniques you're teaching, but all of life's guidance and discipline -
non-existent in any other type of program for a child of 5 today. I
think it all comes down to the staff's unparalleled passion for these
kids - in making it an important, quality moment in their lives. So,
thank you for being simply "Kwon's".

Mr. Cosmo Bisazza, presented a self-defense seminar to all freshmen and sophomore
physical education classes at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School
two days in March 2005.
The seminar was very well received by both students and staff. Mr. Bisazza
did an excellent job in demonstrating and explaining the importance of being
able to defend oneself. The student were then divided into smaller groups
and were allowed to practice these self-defense techniques.
Overall, the students found the seminar to be very informative and
interesting. The Assabet Valley staff and student body look forward to
having Mr. Bisazza return this school year for another excellent
presentation on self-defense.
I would recommend Mr. Bisazza's self-defense seminar to other schools in the
area.
Sincerely,
Mary Jo Nawrocki

Our son,
Trevor, has
been taking Taekwondo classes at Kwon’s for the past year. I recently had a
parent/teacher conference and after reviewing his academics with the
teacher, she commented on how impressed she is with the positive influence
that the Taekwondo program has had on Trevor. She also told me a cute story
of how the class was being disorderly when they were supposed to be lining
up in the hallway. Trevor apparently said to his teacher “In Taekwondo the
instructor says charyot to get everyone to pay attention and stand still,
maybe we can use that as our queue”. The teacher is impressed by how the
lessons around discipline, self respect, self confidence, etc. learned from
Taekwondo have extended into the real world for Trevor. My husband and I are
also very pleased with the Taekwondo program and the positive influence it
has had for both Trevor and our younger son Dawson. The boys really enjoy
taking classes at Kwon's!
Many thanks!

Dear Cosmo,
Thank you for taking the time to come and talk to our class about Martial
Arts. I know every student truly enjoyed having you quickly teach them
about respecting others, but just as important, respecting himself or
herself. It was amazing when we got back to class and all I had to say was
"Focus," and every student was looking at me. Then, "Concentrate," getting
them prepared to learn our next lesson, and we were all ready.
I am pleased that you have offered to present to other classes too. I
highly recommend your services to classroom teachers. I believe the hour
you spend with any class will make a positive impact to classroom management
throughout the year.
Greatly appreciated and eager to have you present again,
Tricia Bowen, 4th Grade Teacher

It is with
great pleasure that I take this opportunity to inform you about the
exceptional working relationship that I have been privileged to have with
Cosmo Bisazza and his organization, Kwon’s Martial Arts Center. As the
After-school Program Coordinator for the Southborough Recreation Commission,
I have worked with Cosmo and his staff over the last year in developing a
Martial Arts Program for our elementary school aged children. Cosmo has
been instrumental in establishing a successful, progressive after-school
program at all three of our elementary schools. His reliable, enthusiastic
and highly-trained staff, have made this program the most popular that we
offer with students and parents alike. Through the use of various
fun-filled teaching mediums (such as weekly reports) Cosmo and his staff
have exceeded our curriculum expectations by teaching students the value of
self-discipline, responsibility self-respect and respect for others. In
this way, this program is not only extremely fun for participants; it
provides them with positive values, critical at this stage in their
development that will last a lifetime. It is for this reason, that I highly
recommend this organization and their programming to every community that
has the opportunity to take advantage of it.

Like many parents we
struggled to get our kids away from their computer games and
television to take part in some healthy physical activity, and we
didn't find any team sports that captured their attention for very
long. We tried Taekwondo, and the kids took to it immediately, and
we've seen a dramatic improvement in their motor skills, self
confidence and behavior. Now it's a family affair, although my wife
and kids are all ahead of me on the belt hierarchy! The Saturday
family class is something that we really look forward to doing
together every week.

My son Juan David
has always been a good boy, but he always wanted and needed to do something
else, so together we agreed to try martial arts (Taekwondo) and see how he
does.
We started asking friends about it, looking for a good Taekwondo school.
We went to
some schools and after talking to Master Bisazza and watching the classes, we decided to go for Kwon's
Martial Arts. One of the deciding factors were that the school is
run
by family
members (father and sons are all black belts) and after I met
with them, I noticed that they exhibit a lot of the principles and
values that I want to teach my kids. Kwon's was the right place for us.
My son has improved in his Taekwondo and also in the way he behaves. He is
more outgoing, more open to things and open to trying new things. His
self-esteem and confidence have also improved. He knows that the changes and
behavior they teach must be carried through in his home life and elsewhere.
He really enjoys what he is doing here at Kwon's Martial Arts and that
shows at school and home. I'm very happy that we made the right choice
to join the Kwon's family.
