Mike Souza, who first began his Martial Arts training in 1992, has been involved in self-defense and physical fitness for over 30 years.  He started out as a Golden Gloves boxer while in his teens and then went on to body-building and power-lifting.  He holds a 4^th degree black belt in Taekwondo and a 3^rd degree black belt in Hapkido and a 1^st degree black belt in Jujitsu. 

Mr. Sousa is a certified instructor and a certified referee.  As a black belt competitor, his tournament experience includes 1^st place at both the New England and Mass. State Championships as well as 2^nd place at the US Cup.
