Dragons Black Belt Club (ages 8 - 11)

Mission Statement:

The objective of the Black Belt Club is to help our children to obtain their personal best.  Emphasis is placed not only on Martial Art skill and technique, but also on development of the traits needed to grow in a well-rounded fashion.  We will further cultivate several personal qualities that will surely enhance your child's ability to cope with life's challenges. 

bullet Positive Self-Image - Having a healthy self-image is the key to becoming a Black Belt.  The image you have of yourself is what you project to others; valuing yourself ensures that other will too.
bullet Pride - Pride is having justifiable self-respect for yourself and your abilities.  It is the quality that makes you perform at your best every time.
bullet Courage - Courage is the ability to conquer your fear and doubt, to find the confidence inside you to continue on the path towards long-term goals.

Striving for Excellence:
bullet For those students who have set achieving their Black Belt as their Martial Arts goal.
bullet An accelerated program designed and taught by Master  Bisazza to facilitate the attainment of this goal as students strive for excellence in all aspects in life.
bullet A program that strives to produce not only excellent martial artists but also outstanding citizens who contribute to their community.
bullet Participation in several areas of Taekwondo that are not offered in regular classes.
bullet Help you child accomplish his or her long-term goal to become a Black Belt, no matter how difficult the journey, because we teach our students never to quit.

Qualifications:

To qualify, students must dedicate themselves to Black Belt excellence, demonstrate their eagerness to achieve advanced techniques, and be nominated by their instructor.

A Black Belt Club member is regarded as an inspirational model of skill and dedication.

Members are expected to take a leadership role in class.

We want students who meet specific requirements and believe that they can both benefit from and contribute to the objectives and obligations of the Black Belt Club

Requirements:
bullet Has been training a minimum of three months.
bullet Attends class at least twice per week.
bullet Is enthusiastic and dedicated.
bullet Learns the student creed.
bullet Maintains a report card with minimum grade of a B or higher in all classes.
