Did you know: The Kukkiwon is the headquarters of the World Taekwondo Federation in Seoul, Korea. Taekwondo is an Olympic sport and only black belt competitors who have Kukkiwon black belt certification, are eligible to compete in the Olympics. We at Kwon's Martial Arts only certify our students with official Kukkiwon black belt certification. Of the countries registered with the Olympic Committee, Taekwondo was rated 10th with 185 countries. This means that your Taekwondo black belt is recognized in 185 countries throughout the world. In January 2005, the number of people who have earned their black belt certification through the Kukkiwon has totaled 6 million. This recognizes the World Taekwondo Federation as the largest martial arts organization in the world. Do you think: I have made the right choice with Kwon's Martial Arts!
