24 Steps

Represents: Earth

 

      Begin in Joonbi:

 

1.   Step forward with left foot into a walk stance; then step into a low front stance with left foot; high punch with right hand

2.   Front snap kick with right foot to mid-section and front snap kick with left foot to face (second kick is done while in the air) landing in a low front stance with left foot forward, kihap; middle block with left hand; high punch with right; high punch with left

3.   Step forward with right foot into a low front stance; high punch with right hand

4.   Three-quarter turn with left foot into archer stance (right hand is high, left hand is directly over your knee)

5.   Slide your left foot over into a low front stance; grab lapel with left hand and pull into an uppercut with right hand (done slowly and with dynamic tension)

6.   Reverse direction by crossing your left leg over your right leg and then putting right foot forward into archer stance (now, left hand is high and right hand is directly over your knee)

7.   Slide your right foot over into a low front stance; grab lapel with right hand and pull into an uppercut with left hand (again, done slowly and with dynamic tension)

8.   Quarter-turn to left with right foot into a back stance, double knife-hand blocks (right foot is back)

9.   Step across with left foot into a low front stance; high punch with right hand

10. Front snap kick with right foot bringing foot back into a back stance; then, immediately bring left foot back so that you’re in a tiger stance with right foot forward; middle palm block with right hand

11. Quarter-turn to left into a tiger stance, double knife-hand blocks (left foot forward)

12. Front snap kick with front foot (left) landing in a low front stance; high punch with right

13. Slide left foot back into tiger stance; middle palm block with left

14. Half-turn to your right into a tiger stance, double knife-hand blocks (right foot forward)

15. Front snap kick with front foot (right) landing in a low front stance; high punch with left

16. Slide right foot back into tiger stance; middle palm block with right

17. Quarter-turn to right into a back stance, double hammer-fists (right hand is directly over right knee)

18. Front snap kick with left foot to mid-section and front snap kick with right foot to face (second kick is done while in the air) landing in a low front stance with right foot forward; middle block with right hand; high punch with left

19. Three-quarter turn into back stance, double knife-hand blocks (left foot forward)

20. Step out with left foot into a low front stance; right roundhouse elbow

21. Back-fist strike with right hand; high punch with left hand

22. Half-turn into back stance, double knife-hand blocks (right foot forward)

23. Step out with right foot into a low front stance; left roundhouse elbow

24. Back-fist strike with left hand; high punch with right hand!
