20 Steps

Represents: Wind

 

            Begin in Joonbi:

 

1.  Quarter-turn left into a low front stance; low block with left hand

2.   Return so that your left foot is almost next to your right foot and your body is facing to the front but you are still looking left; deliver an overhead hammer-fist to your left

3.   Quarter-turn right into a low front stance; low block with right hand

4.   Return so that your right foot is almost next to your left foot and your body is facing to the front but you are still looking right; deliver an overhead hammer-fist to your right

5.   Step to the front into a low front stance with your left foot forward; inside middle block with your left hand; then, inside middle block with your right

6.   Straight kick with right foot landing in a low front stance; back-fist with your right hand; inside middle block with your left

7.   Straight kick with left foot landing in a low front stance; back-fist with your left hand; inside middle block with your right

8.   Step (don’t kick) into a low front stance with your right foot; back-fist with your right hand

9.   Three-quarter turn counter-clockwise into back stance, double knife-hand blocks with left foot forward

10.  Step with your right foot into a low front stance and elbow strike with your right elbow (this is accomplished by punching your left palm)

11.  Half-turn clockwise into back stance, double knife-hand blocks with right foot forward

12.  Step with your left foot into a low front stance and elbow strike with your left elbow (this is accomplished by punching your right palm)

13.  Quarter-turn to left into a low front stance with left foot forward; low block with left hand; then inside middle block with right

14.  Straight kick with right foot landing in a low front stance; low block with right hand; then inside middle block with left

15.  Quarter-turn to left into a low front stance by bringing your left foot to meet your right and then pivoting left; high block with left hand

16.  Grab with right hand and pull into a side kick with your right foot landing in a low front stance with right foot forward; elbow strike with left elbow (this is accomplished by elbowing your right palm)

17.  Half-turn clockwise into a low front stance with right foot forward; high block with right hand

18.  Grab with left hand and pull into a side kick with your left foot landing in a low front stance with left foot forward; elbow strike with right elbow (this is accomplished by elbowing your left palm)

19.  Quarter-turn to left into a low front stance with left foot forward; low block with left hand; then inside middle block with right

20.  Straight kick with right foot landing in an X-stance; back-fist with right hand; kihap!
