3rd Annual Kick-a-thon for USAdoption Solutions

Saturday Dec 6th, 2008

Kwon's Martial Arts

796 Boston Post Road East, Marlborough, MA 01752

3:00 - 4:30 pm

The sponsored charity, USAdoption Solutions, was started by a Kwon’s student, Carle Sargent.  The nonprofit’s goal is to educate people about adopting within the United States foster care system and finding every child eligible for adoption a permanent home. More information can be found on their web site, www.usadoptionsolutions.org.

Over 25 students of all ages and levels will be participating.  The goal is 1,000 kicks per student with each student asking for pledges for every kick they  perform.  The goal for this event is to raise over $2,500.

“Encouraging students to give of themselves simply reinforces what we teach our students every day”, says Master Cody, co-owner and Chief Instructor at Kwon’s.

“Having the kids participate in this kick-a-thon helps them give back to the community and help kids less fortunate than themselves,” Cody said. “It’s a nice concept, kids helping kids.”

Any questions you may have about this event, please feel free to contact us at either school:  Marlborough 508-229-2236 or Clinton 978-365-2999.
